The European Artistic Craft days are held from 6 to 11 April simultaneously in several countries.
The event seeks to reveal the best kept secrets of artistic crafts to the general public.
This initiative is promoted in Spain by the School of Industrial Organization (EOI) – a public foundation and the first Business School in Spain− and its department of promotion of crafts, as well as by Oficio y Arte, Organización de los Artesanos de España (Trade and Art, Organization of Artisans of Spain).
The European Artistic Craft days gain in popularity with each new edition, among craftspeople and the general public alike.
Although the 2020 edition was suspended due to health measures, at this edition, the activities have been adapted to the new circumstances.
For this edition, over 250 free face-to-face and virtual free activities have been organised for all ages.
Manises will also be joining the celebrations with its craftspeople and associations.
Pepe Royo, ANPEC, Encisar-te, Arturo Mora, Maribel Martínez, Aliarte, Drac Ceramic Manises and Porcelanas Mercedes will post their videos or will go direct on Instagram so that their followers can enjoy their creations.
Also present at the inauguration will be Manises ceramist Juan Carlos Iñesta -Domanises.
Juan Carlos Iñesta and singer Neus Ferri will exclusively present the second videoclip of the Crafts&Music project.
This audio-visual initiative highlights the connection between independent music and crafts in Spain.
