On 13 July 2019, a conference on the history of lustre ceramics in Manises was held at the Casa de Cultura de Manises.
The event, which consisted of two conferences and a documentary, had the following programme:
Collecting Nasrid ceramics and lustre ceramics in Manises, by Mariam Rosser Owen, curator of the Middle East in the Department of Asia and head of the collections of art from the Arab world at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
Archaeological excavations in Manises, by Jaume Coll Conesa, director of the National Museum of Ceramics and Sumptuary Arts, González Martí.
Documentary “La cerámica de reflejo metálico de Manises”, by Josep Pérez Camps, scriptwriter and director of this short film.
The event was attended by ceramists and lovers of ceramic culture, as well as the international participants of the exhibition Five Countries One Vision.
