Manises has held a telematic meeting with Sant Julià de Lòria, in Andorra, in order to exchange experiences in relation to the Unesco candidacy in which both cities are currently immersed.
This year, the Andorran city is applying to become a Unesco Creative City in the same field as Manises, in the category of Crafts and Popular Arts. It should be recalled that the first selection cut-off that Manises passed before the summer was exclusive at national level, while the current selection is not.
The meeting was attended by the Mayor of Manises, Jesús Borrás y Sanchis; the Councillor for Tourism, Ángel Mora; the Councillor for the Promotion of Ceramics, Xavier Morant; and the Tourism technician, David Prieto. On the part of Sant Julià, six people involved in the project attended, including the consul.
