The first week of September Manises wants to dedicate and celebrate the presence and importance of women in the ceramics industry in the municipality.
Among the highlights, in addition to the opening of the exhibition “Women in the Manises ceramics industry” at the Museu Comarcal de l’Horta Sud in Torrent, there will be a forum-debate: “Women and ceramics“.
Due to health restrictions this forum will be held online and will be attended by various women from different areas of the ceramic world where we will discuss topics such as:
Their careers and current links with ceramics.
Reconciling work and family life
Obstacles and glass ceilings that they may have encountered in their professional careers.
The future of women in ceramics
This forum will have local representation from Manises as well as from other regions of Spain; the names of the speakers and the moderator of the forum will be announced soon.
