{"id":5370,"date":"2021-03-04T11:18:16","date_gmt":"2021-03-04T11:18:16","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/95.39.50.142\/evento\/concurs-de-dibuix-festa-i-cavalcada-de-la-ceramica\/"},"modified":"2021-03-04T11:25:04","modified_gmt":"2021-03-04T11:25:04","slug":"festa-i-cavalcada-de-la-ceramica-drawing-competition","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/manisescityofceramics.es\/en\/evento\/festa-i-cavalcada-de-la-ceramica-drawing-competition\/","title":{"rendered":"\u201cFesta i Cavalcada de la Cer\u00e0mica\u201d Drawing Competition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This competition aims at engaging local school children who are asked to give their view of the <em>Festa i Cavalcada de la Cer\u00e0mica<\/em> (Ceramics Festival and Parade).<\/p>\n<p>There already have been fourteen editions of this competition which seeks to remind school children of Manises\u2019 association with ceramics and is particularly interested in highlighting these two events which are evidence of the fact.<\/p>\n<p>The drawings are made by school children from 1<sup>st<\/sup> to 6<sup>th<\/sup> class in primary school in Manises. The children are offered the chance to attend a day\u2019s training, given by a tourist guide from Manises, a few months before the competition terms of reference are published.<\/p>\n<p>Once all the drawings in each edition have been handed in, a jury made up of ceramists and representatives of institutions and collaborating businesses, deliberates and awards the approximately 64 winners.<\/p>\n<p>Nonetheless, all the participants are usually rewarded with a \u201c<em>Festa de la Cer\u00e0mica<\/em>\u201d tee shirt.<\/p>\n<p>The award winners are invited to the opening of an exhibition of the drawings which is held in the MUMAF exhibition hall, with the drawings on display until the end of the same month.<\/p>\n<p>Following the exhibition, the prize-giving ceremony is held in the \u201cParc Els Filtres\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-5345\" src=\"https:\/\/manisescityofceramics.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/festa-ceramica10.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" srcset=\"https:\/\/manisescityofceramics.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/festa-ceramica10.jpg 1200w, https:\/\/manisescityofceramics.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/festa-ceramica10-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/manisescityofceramics.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/festa-ceramica10-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/manisescityofceramics.es\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/festa-ceramica10-768x512.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1200px) 100vw, 1200px\" \/><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This competition aims at engaging local school children who are asked to give their view of the Festa i Cavalcada de la Cer\u00e0mica (Ceramics Festival and Parade).
